Evacuation Day 2005

Evacuation Day, April 30th, 2005, went off without only a small glitch or two.

The Reverse 911 proved to be a washout, and traffic actually diminished during the evacuation period. But we hope that Canyon residents used the event to consider and plan their own evacuation strategies for when the wildfire does occur.
