The Santa Barbara County Fire Department is preparing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and Transportation Study for the Santa Barbara Foothill Communities.
We are current in the Public Review stage for the Draft CWPP and Transportation Study and are now seeking input from community members, agencies, environmental groups, and other interested parties to help ensure the CWPP reflects the priorities of the community.
Please review the CWPP and submit any comments on the public feedback submission via the project Story Map. The public review period will be open until March 11th, 2025. We will also be hosting a Public Meeting on Thursday February 27th to discuss the CWPP and provide an additional opportunity for questions. Additionally, please share this with your community networks!
